Located on the coast of Arequipa, the pisco route will allow us to discover the history and production of the most representative spirit drink of Peru, PISCO. We will see the bodegas, vineyards and wine-growing facilities where the different piscos are produced. Of course we will have the opportunity to taste them and compare the different grape varieties.

THE ROUTE OF PISCO

PROGRAM:

1st day

  • Departure towards the coast of Arequipa. Passing through the valleys of Vitor, Siguas and Majes where you will appreciate the cultures of different important products in the region. It is also an excellent opportunity to discover the Peruvian desert coast.

  • Tasting of different varieties of piscos and wines from the region.

  • Typical lunch in a local restaurant.

  • Return to Arequipa.

  • But if you decide to stay 1 more day, the tour continues with the installation at the hotel, the visit to the archaeological site of Toro Muerto, where we will find a large quantity of petroglyphs, stones engraved with designs that represente daily life of ancient inhabitants as well as their beliefs and habits. (Visit possible on a two-day tour)

  • Dinner in a local restaurant.

2nd day

  • Visit to the dinosaurs traces of Querullpa. Located on the slope of the mountain, you have to walk to appreciate the tracks made by dinosaurs that walked in the area 150 million years ago. We will also have an exceptional view of the valley of Majes.
